Day 1 – 06th Apr 2012: Hue arrival
Our guide and driver pick you up at Phu Bai airport and transfer you to hotel in downtown. Check in hotel. Today depending on your flight time, you have free time to walk around Hue streets for your own exploration. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 – 07th Apr 2012: Hue city tour & Opening Ceremony of Festival Hue 2012 (BL)
After having breakfast at hotel, this morning our guide and driver take you to make a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang mausoleum. Along the river you can see the beautiful view of Huong River as well as hear our guide to tell you about the legend of this famous river. Have lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon you spend you time to walk around the street to join the atmosphere of Festival time. Free to have your own dinner. Then the driver and guide will take you to see the Opening ceremony of Festival 2012 at 20.00 pm. Back hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 – 08th Apr 2012: Cyclo around Hue to visit Nguyen Palace & see Nam Giao Cemeromy - Prayers of Heaven (BL)
Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you make a cyclo tour to visit the Citadel where includes Five Phoenix Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Mieu Temple, Nine Urn Dynasty… to learn more of Nguyen Palace in the past. Then you go on visiting Dong Ba market on cyclo the right place to witness Hue's food and culture. Here you will also impress with the maintenance of ancient characteristics, with the local handicraft - conical hats as a sample. Have lunch at restaurant. This afternoon you will have free time to see street cultures to have more exploration of the Festival. After that you will have chance to see Nam Giao Ceremony – Prayers of Heaven to get more experiences of traditional culture. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 – 09th Apr 2012: Half day city tour to Mausoleums - Ao Dai Festival Show (BL)
Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you will spend your time to visit Tu Duc Mausoleum, handicraft villages such as hat-making, incense-making for more exploration, Khai Dinh mausoleum. Have lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon is you free time for you to join Street activities from different countries over the world. Free to have your own dinner. At night you will see the Ao Dai Festival Show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 – 10th Apr 2012: Agricultural Life and Rural Market In Thanh Toan Tile - Royal Night (BL)
Have breakfast at hotel. This morning guide will take you to get a bike to the rural market-Thanh Toan Bridge. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city life behind, you ride a bike leisurely on a green shaded road. On either side of the road are verdant casuarinas trees, paddy fields, canals and pasturing buffalos.
You can chat with kind-hearted rural people. Located among vast paddy rice fields and villages, Thanh Toan arched, covered wooden bridge is a highlight with an architectural feature "Thượng gia hạ kiều"(house above, bridge underneath) that you cannot miss. This is an ancient architectural structure of historical and cultural values, built in 1776. You can mix with rural market-days which offer a variety of rural products for sale such as Thuy Tan sticky rice, Thuy Duong rice wine, then common food such as Tay, U cakes, corn, lotus seed sweet soups etc and popular delicacies of Hue of sticky rice with braised pork, chopped lemongrass and pork, roasted sesame, Hue cakes. Have lunch with local dishes prepared by local people. In the afternoon you will visit a museum of agricultural tools. You can see objects on display such as ploughs, sickles, hoes, rice-hulling mills and pictures of wet rice civilizations. Besides, there are other exhibits to catch fish together with rattan and bamboo woven souvenir gifts. During the festival time Thanh Toan always organizes village market and traditional activities so that you can come back the past. Leaving the rural market and Thanh Toan Bridge to return to Hue and finish the journey. At night you will take part in Royal Night inside the Citadel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 – 11th Apr 2012: Historical Film day & Oriental Night (B)
Have breakfast at hotel. Today you spend your full day for Historical Film Day to watch films about the history of Vietnam country. This is a chance for you to know more of the development of our country. At night you will take part in Oriental Night. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 – 12th Apr 2012: Visiting Thanh Tien flouver & Tam Giang Lagune "Hue, new experience tours" (BL)
7h30: About 5km from Hue city, on downstream of Huong River and opposite the ancient town of Bao Vinh, you go with the guide of Huetourist by car to Thanh Tien village. This place is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers that has gone on for about four hundred years. You will see the authentic local work and participate, there, with co – working.
9h30: Continue by car to explore Sinh Village, hearing the story "tunnel digging to painting" of artist Ky Huu Phuoc.
10h30: Then transfer to Duong No and visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial house to know about Ho Chi Minh's history
11h30: You continue the visit by the Thanh Toan Bridge and Agriculture museum to know more about the daily life of the villager.
12h00: You go back to the city or continue the afternoon half day tour to Tam Giang lagoon. Lunch in the town.
13.30: Take direction To Phu Bai airport then continue to An Bang village – in 70s, where many boat people left here to find a new life. In the spirit of skeptical flavour, they come back and they buillt many lavish and colorful shrine to their ancestors that can not see any other places. They called it is "City Mausoleum", it is also the expression for the spiritual life of people coast.
14.30: Visitting around the city and listen to local people talk about their mausoleum - worth tens of trillions.
15h30: Continue to My Khanh village and visit the brique Cham tower, 100 years old, covered by beach sandy. You follow the coastal road to Thuan An beach.
16h30: You will take the fishing boat from Thuan An pagoda wharf and across the lagoon, you go to Sam and Chuon area. That is your creating moment for "Sunset on Tam Giang" photos (Tam Giang photos tour). Stop by in Cho house for the responsibles travel activities by sharing your civilisation with fishermen and poor family, living on the water surface.
18h30: Have dinner with sea food and come back Hue and overnight at hotel.
Day 8 – 13th Apr 12: Hue departure (B)
Have breakfast at hotel. Today you have more free time to walk around the streets to get more discoveries. Then depending on your flight time, the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight departure Hue.
