The Taiwanese Acer has announced a new ultrabook line under the Aspire M5 name. The new line will be represented by 14-inch and 15-inch models and will feature Intel's latest Ivy Bridge processors with the displays working at 1366×768 pixel resolution. The new Aspire M5 ultrabooks can be easily recognized by the thin frame around the display as well as the metallic colored chassis. Users will also be able to take advantage of the integrated NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M graphics card as well as enjoy SSD speed or large capacity hard drives. Unfortunately Acer did not say which processors exactly the new Aspire M5 will use. Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M5 A unique feature of the new Aspire M5 line is that the operating system will load in just a few seconds. 15-inch models will also include an optical drive with all models offering backlit keyboards. As to battery life Aspire M5 users should expect battery life of up to 8 hours. The Acer Aspire M5 ultrabook line will hit the market next month but pricing is unknown.
